Role
You will serve as the central point of contact for electrical safety and electrical engineering standards within the FANUC organization. You will assume the role of Responsible Electrical Specialist (VEFK) for our entities located in Neuhausen a. d. F. and take responsibility for the maintenance and further development of standards and specifications related to cable and connectivity technology for our CNC and automation solutions across Europe. In this role, you will support our European subsidiaries and internal departments with your electrical engineering expertise.
Responsibilities
Assume the function of Responsible Electrical Specialist (VEFK) for the FANUC entities in Neuhausen a. d. F., ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical regulations, standards, and safety requirements
Define, maintain, and monitor electrical engineering standards, guidelines, and processes across the organization
Provide technical advice and support to FANUC European subsidiaries and internal departments on electrical safety, wiring, cabling, and electrical infrastructure topics
Maintain, standardize, and further develop cable specifications and cable catalogues for FANUC CNC and automation solutions
Support Purchasing in the selection, qualification, and auditing of suppliers for cables, connectors, and electrical components
Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and application tests to ensure the quality, safety, and reliability of FANUC products and solutions
Profile
State\-certified technician, industrial master craftsman, skilled trades master, or university degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable discipline
Several years of professional experience in an electrical engineering environment, ideally within the machinery, automation, or manufacturing industry
Sound knowledge of relevant electrical regulations, standards, and safety requirements, as well as the professional qualifications required to act as a Responsible Electrical Specialist (VEFK)
Experience in assessing electrical installations, equipment, and processes, combined with a strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness
Knowledge of cable and connectivity technology as well as electrical design, preferably with EPLAN or comparable systems
Independent and responsible working style with a confident and professional manner
Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
