<br><span data-path-to-node="2,0">We are looking to work with a project specific <strong data-path-to-node="2,0" data-index-in-node="4">Technical Director</strong> who will become the senior technical authority for key projects at our London studio, ensuring success in delivering products and services to our clients</span><span data-path-to-node="2,2">. Hands-on, client-facing, and leading projects from start to finish, this is a central technological position within the tech team and the business</span><span data-path-to-node="2,4">. You will lead all project technical production to ensure smooth delivery, advocate modern agentic SDLC workflows, and manage client technical relationships</span><span data-path-to-node="2,6">.</span> <br><br>
<h3 data-path-to-node="5,0">Key Responsibilities:</h3>
<span data-path-to-node="6,0">The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:</span><br>

<li>
<div><span data-path-to-node="7,0,0,0">Plan, own, and oversee technical project architectures, implementations, and deployments</span><span data-path-to-node="7,0,0,2">. Monitor technical budgets, enforce deadlines with project Producers, review project outputs regularly, and ensure quality control (bug-free, robust, clean code)</span><span data-path-to-node="7,0,0,4">.</span></div>

<div><span data-path-to-node="7,1,0,0">Client &amp; Stakeholder Management: Align with clients' technical departments on needs, capabilities, and governance</span><span data-path-to-node="7,1,0,2">. Step in as Director to resolve client technical concerns and communicate complex technical concepts effectively (including scope creep)</span><span data-path-to-node="7,1,0,4">.</span></div>

<div><span data-path-to-node="7,2,0,0">Business Development &amp; Pitches: Assess briefs with leadership, present technology and processes in client pitch scenarios, and support the quoting process by estimating skill specialisms, time, and effort required</span><span data-path-to-node="7,2,0,2">.</span></div>

<div><span data-path-to-node="7,3,0,0">Technical Leadership &amp; Innovation: Formulate short- and long-term project strategies, approve technical standards, identify/mitigate project risks, and advocate modern agentic SDLC workflows within the engineering team</span><span data-path-to-node="7,3,0,2">.</span></div>

<div><span data-path-to-node="7,4,0,0">Subcontractor &amp; Partner Management: Oversee and liaise with external subcontractors and technical partners covering hardware/software integration and DevOps</span><span data-path-to-node="7,4,0,2">.</span></div>

<div><span data-path-to-node="7,5,0,0">HR &amp; Line Management: Provide line management for a developer cohort in project teams (including freelance/contract workers), lead performance reviews, and support direct reports' continued professional development</span><span data-path-to-node="7,5,0,2">.</span></div>

<div><span data-path-to-node="10,1,0,0">Demonstrable experience in delivering 3D applications and Gaussian splatting</span><span data-path-to-node="10,1,0,2">.</span></div>
</li>
<li>
<div><span data-path-to-node="10,2,0,0">Thorough understanding of 3D Realtime core concepts and AI development best practices</span><span data-path-to-node="10,2,0,2">.</span></div>
</li>
<li>
<div><span data-path-to-node="10,3,0,0">Thorough knowledge of end-to-end software development lifecycles from design to deployment</span><span data-path-to-node="10,3,0,2">.</span></div>
</li>
<li>
<div><span data-path-to-node="10,4,0,0">Specialist knowledge in web technologies, Unity, AR/VR/interactive software, and mobile platforms (iOS and Android)</span><span data-path-to-node="10,4,0,2">.</span></div>
</li>
<li>
<div><span data-path-to-node="10,5,0,0">Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly translate complex tech to non-technical team members and clients</span><span data-path-to-node="10,5,0,2">.</span></div>
