Working arrangement: Hybrid Min 2 day on site in North Dublin
Rate: 300\-350 per day
We are working with a world class business, whose customer is embarking on a significant decentralisation project to enhance flexibility and control within their operational units. As part of this we are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in the discovery and planning phase of their service design efforts.
Ideally you will have a strong background in business analysis, demonstrating the ability to analyse, optimise, and document complex business processes. Your insights and analyses will contribute to the overall success of the project and to numerous teams within the business.
We are looking for people with a strong BA background, the below is a guide on some of the other skills we are ideally looking for.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, with a focus on service design and process improvement
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
- Experience working on discovery and planning phases of projects, contributing to the development of project plans and timelines
- Proficient in using data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with process modelling techniques (e.g., BPMN) and analysis tools (e.g., ARIS, Visio)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (JIRA, Trello)
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, deployment strategies, and best practices for minimizing disruptions during service introduction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Familiarity with SDLC phases, and requirements management tools (JIRA, Confluence) is advantageous
- Ideally ITIL certified.
- Coordination with stakeholders to establish scope of existing services and development of plans for migration of responsibilities
- Drive the service design process, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology capabilities
- Work closely with cross\-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit and prioritise requirements, ensuring clear communication between technical and non\-technical stakeholders
- Develop and maintain documentation, including business process models, user stories, and functional specifications
- Utilise data analysis tools and techniques to derive valuable insights for informed decision\-making
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
