About the role
------------------

Codesphere is entering complex, high\-stakes regulated markets where winning a tender requires much more than project management. As our Technical Bid Manager, you own the end\-to\-end bid process and actively shape the proposal itself – translating complex requirements into a clear response strategy and turning technical expertise into a compelling, compliant, and credible offer.

This is not a coordination role. You understand the scope in depth, challenge requirements, develop solution concepts, and write substantial parts of the proposal yourself.

What you'll drive
---------------------

• You own the complete tender lifecycle – from qualification and bid strategy through proposal development, submission, clarification rounds, and handover after award


• You analyse tender documents and translate technical, commercial, contractual, and compliance requirements into a structured response and execution plan


• You identify gaps against our product capabilities and work with Product and Engineering on viable solution approaches


• You develop key parts of the proposal yourself – executive summaries, solution descriptions, implementation approaches, and responses to evaluation criteria


• You turn complex topics around cloud platforms, PaaS, Kubernetes, security, and digital sovereignty into precise and convincing tender responses


• You coordinate and challenge contributions from Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and external partners to ensure one consistent, complete proposal


• You build reusable templates and evidence libraries, and feed recurring market requirements back into Product Strategy

• Experience with complex B2B, enterprise, or public\-sector tenders, solution design, or technical proposals in software, cloud, or platform environments


• Strong technical background – able to work effectively with engineers, architects, and product teams and hold your own in deeply technical discussions


• Solid understanding of cloud concepts: SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, Kubernetes, DevOps, CI/CD, managed services, IAM, and security


• Exceptional writing skills – able to create concise, precise, and persuasive content from complex and sometimes incomplete source material


• Highly organized under hard deadlines, with the ability to maintain a clear view of the overall solution and bid strategy


• Confident stakeholder management – you challenge senior leaders and subject\-matter experts when contributions are incomplete


• Fluent in German and English


• Based near Karlsruhe or Munich, comfortable with a hybrid setup

• You'll work on tenders that shape infrastructure powering some of Europe's most critical institutions – from the German Federal Government to leading enterprises.
