The Intervention Centre in Sint\-Pieters\-Leeuw is primarily tasked with ensuring the continuity and integrity of the network.
To this end, our teams are available 24 hours a day to carry out all kinds of scheduled and unscheduled work on our transmission facilities, including adjustments and repairs. The Intervention Centre complies with the ISO 9001 quality standard and SCC (VCA) in all its activities: welded structures, mechanical worksite, logistics and warehouse.
The Intervention Centre in Sint\-Pieters\-Leeuw is looking for a Technical Assistant (m/f/x)
Job purpose
As Technical Administrative Assistant, you will support our technical team in processing work orders, managing technical projects and following up on orders.
You will ensure that all administrative processes run smoothly and correctly.
Your work is key to the efficient functioning of our technical team.
Your responsibilities
- In this role, you will be responsible for managing our rolling stock and larger site equipment, including trucks, forklift trucks, cranes, trailers, generators, lighting towers, compressors and site facilities.
- You will work closely with the technical coordinator and provide for the smooth planning of interventions, maintenance and repairs.
- You will order the necessary spare parts and follow up on deliveries in consultation with suppliers.
- Your daily tasks will include organising inspections and processing technical data such as hourly readings and meter readings in SAP PM.
- You will also be responsible for the administrative follow\-up of work orders in SAP PM and will guarantee the correct recording and follow\-up of damage claims via our ETM.nxt platform.
- You will help prepare commissioning reports and monitor the administrative aspects of the calibration of measuring equipment.
- Lastly, you will work with the accounting team to ensure that invoicing runs smoothly and you will step in where necessary to support your colleagues.
- You have a good understanding of technical issues and a strong sense of responsibility.
- You are experienced in working within a technical environment
- You hold a secondary education diploma in a technical or administrative field and ideally have a BA5 certificate or are willing to obtain this certification within a year.
- You enjoy doing administrative work, working accurately comes naturally to you and you know how to structure a wide range of tasks
- You possess considerable digital skills, with excellent knowledge of MS Office and potentially experience with SAP.
- You communicate clearly, are customer\-focused and can work independently while also knowing when collaboration makes a difference.
- You express yourself effortlessly in Dutch; fluency in French or English would definitely be a plus.
- Lastly, you are willing to take part in an on\-call system and live within 60 kilometres of our intervention centre—ideal for being able to respond quickly when needed.
