About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead / Java Spring Developer to help evolve an application managing reference data related to groups of financial statements.

The platform integrates with external public and market data providers and captures information from unstructured documents. Your work will help improve data quality, consistency and reporting accuracy, enabling faster access to reliable information for decision\-making.

This role combines technical business analysis, hands\-on development and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable back\-end architectures.


• Develop and enhance application functionality using Java and Spring.


• Implement APIs and other data exposure solutions.


• Apply CI/CD best practices to automate and standardise delivery.


• Participate in validation activities with end\-users.


• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions and support users through changes.


• Collaborate with business and IT teams to improve data consistency across reference sources.

Required Qualifications

• University degree, or equivalent professional experience, in IT, Computer Science, Information Management or a related field.


• Strong proficiency in Java and deep knowledge of the Spring framework.


• Advanced SQL skills, particularly PostgreSQL.


• Strong software engineering practices, including CI/CD, microservices, unit testing and version control.


• Experience with cloud environments, such as AWS or IBM Cloud, and Docker containerisation.


• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence and ALM.


• Ability and willingness to combine Technical Business Analyst, Developer and Tech Lead responsibilities.


• English at C1 level and basic French.


• Strong communication, problem\-solving and teamwork skills.


• Ability to understand end\-user needs, explain technical solutions clearly and support change.


• Attention to detail and a rigorous approach to delivery.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with third\-party data.


• Knowledge of data governance and data management.

You are a technically strong Java professional who enjoys combining hands\-on development with technical leadership and business analysis. You can design reliable back\-end solutions, work confidently with complex SQL and guide delivery using modern engineering practices.

You are comfortable discussing requirements with end\-users and collaborating across business and IT teams, with a clear focus on data quality and maintainable solutions.
