We are currently looking for a reliable, responsible, and motivated Team Leader / Senior Sales Representative to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent service, and is comfortable taking responsibility for the smooth daily operation of a busy chocolate store.

The Role
As a Team Leader / Senior Sales Representative, you will play an important role in supporting the team and taking responsibility for the day\-to\-day operation of the store.
You will lead by example, help motivate your colleagues, ensure customers receive excellent service, and make sure the shop is always clean, organised, well\-stocked, and professionally presented.
You will work closely with management and help ensure that the store operates smoothly and efficiently every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and motivate team members during daily operations.
- Take responsibility for the smooth running of the store during your shift.
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Assist international visitors and tourists from around the world.
- Present and explain our Belgian chocolate products with confidence.
- Support sales through excellent product knowledge and appropriate upselling.
- Ensure the store is clean, organised, attractive, and fully stocked.
- Maintain high standards of product presentation and visual merchandising.
- Delegate daily tasks to team members and follow up to ensure they are completed.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Support stock replenishment and stock counting.
- Ensure hygiene, food safety, and allergen procedures are followed.
- Handle customer questions, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Support management with daily store operations and sales\-related tasks.
- Help create a positive, professional, and friendly atmosphere within the team.
- Set a good example for other team members through your attitude, reliability, and work ethic.
We are looking for someone who is mature, responsible, energetic, and customer\-focused.
You don't necessarily need years of management experience. What matters most is that you are confident, organised, willing to take responsibility, and comfortable working with both customers and colleagues.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, tourism, food service, or customer service is preferred.
- Previous team leader or supervisory experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good level of English is required.
- French and/or Dutch is a strong advantage.
- Additional languages are highly appreciated because we serve international customers.
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Well organised and detail\-oriented.
- Comfortable taking initiative and working independently.
- Confident communicating with customers and colleagues.
- Comfortable working in a busy tourist environment.
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays when required.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The position is on\-site and customer\-facing.
Working Hours
Part\-time or full\-time
For part\-time positions, we are looking for approximately 20–30 hours per week across 3–4 working days, with flexibility depending on your availability.
Weekend and public holiday availability is important, particularly during busy tourist periods.
We are happy to consider students who need to combine work with their studies.
