Twyford Care Group is looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our Mental Health Supported Living services across Derby.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established Senior Support Worker or Team Leader who is passionate about delivering high\-quality support and developing strong, successful teams. Working closely with the Service Manager and Deputy Service Manager, you will help ensure our services remain safe, person\-centred, and outcome\-focused.
You will provide leadership across a cluster of services, supporting staff to deliver exceptional care while maintaining compliance, quality standards, and positive outcomes for the people we support.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting Teams
- Provide day\-to\-day leadership and guidance to Support Workers across multiple services.
- Offer practical support, coaching, and direction to staff during shifts.
- Lead team meetings, daily briefings, and handovers.
- Support new starters through induction and ongoing development.
- Promote a positive, professional, and supportive working culture.
- Participate in the management on\-call rota.
- Ensure support is delivered in line with individual support plans and risk assessments.
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and recovery\-focused support.
- Build positive relationships with service users, families, and professionals.
- Support effective communication between services and external agencies.
- Assist with financial administration and money management processes where required.
- Complete service audits, quality checks, and monitoring activities.
- Support medication management and ensure records are maintained accurately.
- Monitor incidents, actions, and follow\-up tasks.
- Ensure services operate in line with CQC requirements, safeguarding standards, and company policies.
- Escalate maintenance, compliance, and safeguarding concerns appropriately.
- Prepare and submit regular service reports.
- Attend management meetings and contribute to service improvement plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure actions are completed within required timescales.
- Use internal systems effectively to monitor tasks and service performance.

Essential
- Experience as a Team Leader, Senior Support Worker, or similar leadership role within mental health, supported living, or social care services.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health \& Social Care (or working towards).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and support teams effectively.
- Experience working with adults with mental health needs.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Flexibility to participate in an on\-call rota.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Starting salary of £29,120 per annum.
