Due to the development of the two current post holders, we are pleased to be able to offer an opportunity for two experienced mental health professionals to take on leadership roles in the Primary Care Mental Health Team.
The roles will deliver operational leadership to part of the team based on a geographical split, one post will cover the West of South Staffordshire (Stafford, Cannock, Seisdon), the other the East of South Staffordshire (Tamworth, Lichfield, Burton).
Experience in mental health, primary care and in leadership will be required to undertake this role.
The operational components of the role will include all aspects of line management including staffing, recruitment, sickness and performance management, rostering and appraisals.
The role will include driving quality improvements through leading on areas such as patient satisfaction, data recording and reporting, clinical supervision, clinical audit and ensuring adherence to evidence based practice.
Relationship building with Primary Care Networks and GP practices will form an important part of this role. An understanding of these relationships and an approach that supports collaborative working is crucial for the post holder.
