Teaching Assistant

Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate member to join our school. We seek to appoint someone who has experience of teaching children and understands how to implement a range of teaching strategies to ensure access to the curriculum and progress.

The successful candidate will:

• Have high expectations of pupil achievement and progress


• Maintain the school’s high expectations of pupil behaviour


• Be flexible in their approach, well organised and prepared to work as part of a team


• Have a strong awareness of the social, emotional and wellbeing needs of children


• Be able to work under the guidance of the class teacher and school leaders

• Have a good standard of English and Maths to GCSE level or equivalent.

Please note the salary range for the role is based on NJC Grade 5 (£28,142\-£29,540 FTE). The salary for the role of 17\.5 hours per week is circa £11,700 per annum.

This role is term time only plus 5 INSET days. All holidays are expected to be taken when school is not in session.
