Are you a caring, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful difference to a child's education and development?

Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Pinnacle Trust, We are seeking a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to a pupil, helping them to access learning, develop confidence and thrive within the school environment.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and enjoys building positive, trusting relationships with children.

The Role As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider school team to provide tailored support to a pupil with additional needs.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil throughout the school day.

  • Supporting the pupil to access the curriculum and participate fully in classroom activities.

  • Adapting and reinforcing learning activities to meet individual needs.

  • Supporting communication, social interaction and emotional development.

  • Helping the pupil to develop independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours.

  • Providing support with transitions between lessons, activities and different areas of the school.

  • Working with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support strategies and agreed interventions.

  • Supporting small-group activities where appropriate.

  • Encouraging positive relationships with peers and promoting inclusion within the classroom.

  • Maintaining a calm, nurturing and supportive approach when responding to challenging or dysregulated behaviour.

  • Contributing to a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
