We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Weymouth, Dorset.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with both students and teaching staff, supporting learning, building confidence and helping young people reach their full potential. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment across the school.

A September start is available for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will:

• Be positive, patient and approachable


• Have a genuine passion for supporting young people in education


• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff


• Provide support to students both in and outside the classroom


• Help maintain a calm, inclusive and supportive learning environment


• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Previous experience working with young people or within a school setting would be advantageous, although not essential, as full training and support will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
