1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary SEND Provision Westminster, Victoria
£90-£100 per day
Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
September 2026 Start | Long-Term Role until at least July 2027

A welcoming primary school in Westminster is looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil on a 1:1 basis from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dedicated SEND provision within the school. The role is based in a small specialist classroom, where you will work alongside an experienced Teaching Assistant who leads the daily planning, organisation and delivery of the provision.

About the role You will be providing individual support for a Year 1 child with high-needs Autism (ASD). The pupil is non-verbal, enjoys sensory-based activities and is extremely active throughout the school day. The successful candidate will need to be patient, adaptable and confident supporting a child who requires consistent structure, engagement and encouragement.

We are looking for someone who: • Has a minimum of one year's experience working in EYFS or Key Stage 1

• Has previous experience supporting children with Autism and additional needs


• Is calm, resilient and able to respond positively to challenging situations


• Can build strong, trusting relationships with children and staff


• Is passionate about supporting pupils with SEND to achieve their full potential

What the school offers • A long-term, full-time position from September 2026 through to at least July 2027

• Working hours of 8:30am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday
