Teaching Assistants - Colchester - September Start Prospero Teaching are looking for enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming primary schools in Colchester from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping children thrive and contributing to a positive, engaging classroom environment.

Schools are seeking patient, proactive, and nurturing practitioners who can work closely with pupils, assist class teachers, and help create a supportive learning atmosphere.

CONTRACT DETAILS • Location - Colchester

  • Position - Teaching Assistant

  • Type of work - Classroom support

  • Start date - September

  • Duration - Ongoing / Long-term

  • Full time/part-time - Full time

  • Minimum rate of pay - £90-£100 per day

  • Hours - 8:30 am - 3:00 pm


EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS • Experience working with children (school-based or similar)
  • Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)

  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)


TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

  • Provide two professional child-related references
