About the role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Work under the guidance and direction of the class teacher to support pupils learning, wellbeing and inclusion, including pupils with SEND.


• Support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and inclusion, including pupils with SEND


• Work closely with teachers to deliver learning activities and interventions


• Help create a safe, caring and purposeful classroom environment


• Encourage pupils’ independence, confidence and self‑esteem


• Support behaviour, routines and positive relationships


• Contribute to the wider life of the school
