Hays Education are working in partnership with an Outstanding rated secondary school in South Manchester to recruit a Teacher of Maths for a September 2026 start. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate Maths specialist to join a high-performing department on an initial interim basis, with a strong possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

Your new role

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)


• Inspire students to achieve excellent academic outcomes


• Contribute to a supportive and collaborative Maths department


• Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent


• Experience teaching Maths within UK secondary schools


• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement


• Strong classroom management skills
