The Role
Academics are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a respected independent school in Dacorum seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join their successful department from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach highly motivated and engaged students in an environment that values academic achievement, creativity and individual development. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level for suitably experienced applicants.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations and support excellent outcomes
- Potentially teach A-Level Mathematics, depending on experience
- Monitor, assess and report on student progress
- Contribute to departmental development and enrichment activities
- Support the wider pastoral and extracurricular life of the school
- Permanent full-time position

What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Mathematics within the UK education system
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to inspire, motivate and challenge young people
- Commitment to maintaining high academic standard
