ABOUT THE ROLE

Hoshino Europe B.V. is the distributor for TAMA Drums, Meinl, and Hardcase across the Benelux, France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Based in Mijdrecht (Province of Utrecht, Netherlands), we are looking for an experienced Product Manager to take responsibility of these three brands across our territory.

In this role, you sit at the heart of our product operations, connecting our international manufacturers with the dealers and markets we serve across Benelux, France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. You manage the product portfolio end\-to\-end: from purchasing and pricing to new product introductions and dealer support. You work closely with the sales team, logistics, and international contacts to ensure the right products reach the right markets at the right time.

This is a mid\-to\-senior level position that requires both strategic thinking and hands\-on execution. A passion for drums and percussion instruments is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product \& Portfolio Management

\- Manage the product portfolio for TAMA, Meinl, and Hardcase across our territory (Benelux, France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal): from purchase planning and pricing to range selection and new product introductions

\- Monitor market trends and cost developments, and translate them into well\-founded pricing and assortment decisions

\- Prepare and present new product information for the sales team and dealers, and contribute to catalog and marketing content

Market Development \& HQ Liaison

\- Serve as the main point of contact between our territory and the international manufacturers, providing regular market feedback and product proposals

\- Visit dealers regularly to stay close to the market and build strong relationships across our sales territory

\- Collaborate with the sales team on promotions and campaigns to drive sell\-through

Sales \& Customer Support

\- Support the sales team with product expertise, helping to resolve technical and commercial questions from dealers

\- Coordinate with the logistics and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and after\-sales handling

PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

\- 3\+ years of experience in product management, purchasing, or brand management, preferably in the musical instrument or consumer electronics industry

\- Strong knowledge and passion for drums and percussion instruments; hands\-on experience as a drummer or percussionist is a significant advantage

\- Proven ability to manage relationships with manufacturers in a distribution environment

\- Comfortable working with ERP systems and MS Office applications (including Excel and PowerPoint) for data\-driven tasks such as pricing analysis and purchase planning

\- Clear and professional communication skills in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus

\- Structured, detail\-oriented, and proactive working style with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently

\- Willingness to travel occasionally for dealer visits, trade shows, and distributor meetings

\- Based in the Netherlands, or willing to relocate

\- Salary from €3,500 per month, based on experience and qualifications

\- Full\-time employment (40 hours/week), starting with a 36\-month fixed\-term contract with the clear intention of permanent employment
