About the team and the role
At Ocado Retail we are passionate about attracting and developing talented people at all levels in our business. The role of Talent Acquisition Partner is critical to these aims. You will embed yourself within specific business areas to deeply understand their unique operations, team cultures, and long\-term goals. By partnering closely with hiring managers, you will proactively anticipate their needs and deliver robust recruitment strategies that attract top talent. Ultimately, your responsibility spans the entire talent journey, ensuring a seamless process from the initial brief right through to a positive, welcoming on\-boarding experience for every new joiner.
What you’ll do
- Talent Sourcing \- Own the end to end recruitment process for your business area from sourcing through to onboarding, focusing on delivering a first\-class candidate experience that reflects our values and culture. Build strong talent pipelines for roles at all levels, through proactive sourcing methods, understanding the internal talent landscape, networking and partnerships. Manage all senior hires for your business areas.
- Talent Acquisition Strategy Deployment \- In partnership with the People Partnering team for the function, develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment plan that identifies hiring needs and priorities based on business area goals, future skills and workforce planning.
- Market Insights, Data and Trends \- Collate and utilise market insights and trends to inform your recruitment strategies, provide guidance to hiring managers and stay competitive in attracting talent. Prepare regular presentations to senior stakeholders on recruitment metrics, trends, successes and recommendations.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Contribute to and lead strategic projects aimed at elevating our talent function to best\-in\-class; this includes championing initiatives across employer branding, recruitment system optimisation, and process innovation to ensure we are constantly evolving and improving how we attract high peforming talent.
- Talent Attractions and Engagement \- Design and deliver targeted talent attraction initiatives that aligns to our Employer Value Proposition. Have a strong professional social media presence and attend external industry events to build our brand awareness and network.
- You’ll have proven and extensive experience as a Talent Acquisition Partner/Recruiter, acquiring talent across a range of head office roles and levels, including Senior hires. Experience in the Retail and/or Online sector is desirable.
- Demonstrated success in developing and deploying tailored recruitment strategies which meet business objectives.
- Experience and understanding of workforce planning and forecasting processes.
- Competent and comfortable with data \- gathering, analysing and presenting back insight and recommendations to Senior Stakeholders.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
