Talent Acquisition Advisor
Dalkia Engineering \- We are a leading provider of M\&E engineering solutions across the UK, delivering complex projects within healthcare, defence, government, industrial and infrastructure sector
About the role
At the start of 2026, Dalkia Engineering strengthened its in‑house recruitment capability with the introduction of a dedicated Talent Acquisition Business Partner and Adviser. This investment has already delivered strong results, including a reduction in reliance on recruitment agencies and a more consistent, high‑quality recruitment experience across the business.
Building on this momentum, we are now looking to further grow our Talent Acquisition team with the addition of an additional Talent Acquisition Advisor. This role will support the continued development of our direct hiring model and play a key part in how we attract, engage, and hire talent across Dalkia Engineering.
This role is focused on recruitment in the North and therefore the Bolton office is an ideal location for this hybrid role although some nationwide travel will be required.
Operating within a matrix organisation, and in an industry that experiences regular peaks and troughs in recruitment demand, this is a varied and fast‑paced role suited to a recruiter who enjoys balancing high‑volume and specialist hiring while building strong stakeholder relationships.

- Supporting recruitment activity across a mix of specialist roles in an M\&E business including Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Planners and Commercial Managers
- Working closely with hiring managers to understand requirements and provide recruitment advice

- Coordinating interviews and supporting fair, effective assessment and selection processes
- Delivering a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey
- Supporting the continued reduction of recruitment agency reliance through strong direct hiring solutions
- Maintaining accurate recruitment data using applicant tracking systems and reporting tools
- Contributing ideas to improve recruitment processes and ways of working
This role is ideal for an existing Talent Acquisition Adviser who is looking to take their next step in an expanding M\&E business.
You will need;
- Experience recruiting high‑volume and specialist roles, ideally within engineering or M\&E construction
- Familiarity with recruitment systems and a range of sourcing and assessment methods
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies in a fast‑paced recruitment environment
- Strong relationship‑builder with stakeholders and candidates
- Well organised with a high level of attention to detail
- Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Able to prioritise and adapt to changing recruitment demands
- Enthusiastic about learning, development, and continuous improvement
