Position Summary:Technical expert with a strong experience in Temenos T24 core banking system, providing complete support related to the T24 operations, upgrade and integration with other IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve problems related to the T24 daily operations,
- Improve T24 system functionality to support the bank's requirements better.
- Contribute to T24 system update, install patches and integrate with other IT systems.
- Maintain a solid understanding of the bank's business needs and work closely with other departments to meet them.?
- Software development from technical design to delivery and maintenance.
- Supporting T24 system performance and security monitoring.
- Performing design, coding, code review and assisting unit testing.
- Ensuring development is done according to the specifications and within time.
- Analysing business requirements and functional specifications to formalise them into technical specifications.
- Preparing functional specifications and technical specifications.
- Collaborating with technical and non-technical team members to achieve the best results.
- Work in compliance with the bank's IT policies and procedures, financial industry standards and regulations.
- Liaising with Temenos Helpdesk over problem resolution and testing.
- Providing out-of-hours support for urgent system problems.
- Transferring knowledge to other team members.
- Responding to T24 user issues.
- Keep up to date with the IT industry trends and developments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to build good relationships with business users and other IT team members.
- Ability to work on tasks independently as well as in a team.
- Work quickly and accurately whilst under pressure.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and keep pace with the latest thinking and new technologies.
- Passion for technology with a desire to deliver.
- Strong customer focus, able to meet the demands of internal and external customers.
- Good communication skills, verbal and written with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or another relevant field.
- In-depth technical knowledge of the T24 system, including the latest releases R24, as well as modules AA, TPH, SC and RP.
- Experience participating in integration projects (including API integrations).
- Excellent understanding of T24 TAFJ running on MS SQL database.
- Excellent jBC development skills for T24.
- Understanding of Java development for T24.
- Solid experience in T24 integration, interfacing and customisation of Browser.
- Experience administering and supporting online, mission-critical systems.
- Experience dealing with end-user requests and managing quality expectations.
- Ability to provide user training and prepare documentation and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with other team members and business users.
- Experience managing several concurrent activities and prioritising demands.
- Understanding of banking business and products.
- Good understanding of modern software development standards, data concepts, and systems integration.
- Positive and problem-solving attitude.
- Preferably a Cantonese speaker
