System Architect

The System Architect is a customer\-focused technical sales professional providing high\-level technical support and guidance. Collaborating with the Account Team, the SA recommends and develops customer solution offerings.

Your Impact

• Serve designated Finance Sector accounts, primarily large customers, driving adoption of Cisco’s solutions and shaping technical account strategy.


• Provide architectural expertise across Cisco’s portfolio, leveraging technical specialization and networking knowledge.


• Identify and qualify business opportunities through customer engagement and educational initiatives.


• Collaborate with Architecture, Sales, Services, and Engineering teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.


• Develop and communicate technical account plans and solution options aligned with customer business challenges.


• Understand industry trends and customer economics to demonstrate Cisco’s financial and strategic value.


• Facilitate deal progression by engaging appropriate Cisco and partner resources.


• Build strong internal and external relationships, establishing credibility through expertise.

• 3\+ years as Solutions Architect or Systems Engineer.


• Knowledge of Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR).


• Strong understanding of customer business models and financial pain points.


• Advanced knowledge of Cisco vision and technology.


• Experience leading complex, large\-scale projects with multiple integrations.


• Proficient in German and English (spoken and written).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.


• Good knowledge of Cisco’s portfolio and strategy.


• Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCDP, CCIE) beneficial.


• Understanding of customer business drivers and network platform technical acumen.


• Awareness of networking industry trends and new solutions.


• Advanced expertise in Core Networking, AI Cloud, and security technologies.


• Excellent technical consulting skills, including trade\-off analysis and solution integration.
