System Safety Engineer
We are looking for an engaged System Safety Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be a key player in combining functional safety and cybersecurity to build modern, reliable electrical and electronic (E/E) architectures across our product development lifecycle.
Work tasks include:* Support functional safety activities in accordance with ISO 26262 across vehicle and platform development.
- Perform and contribute to Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA) and support Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) activities in collaboration with cybersecurity teams.
- Contribute to the development of Functional Safety Concepts (FSC) and Technical Safety Concepts (TSC).
- Participate in safety analyses such as FMEA and FTA to identify and mitigate system risks.
- Support verification and review of safety work products and ensure traceability of safety requirements.
- Collaborate closely with system architects, software and hardware engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and suppliers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety processes, methods, and engineering practices.
- Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Hands\-on experience working with automotive embedded systems or E/E architecture, minimum of 10 years experience.
- Standards \& Methods:
+ Experience participating in or supporting HARA activities.
+ Basic understanding or exposure to TARA and the interaction between functional safety and cybersecurity.
+ Familiarity with safety concepts such as FSC, TSC, FMEA, and FTA.
- Systems Engineering: Understanding of automotive software development and systems engineering principles.
- Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken).
