System Engineer

System Engineer:
We are looking for a System Engineer to support the design and development of Defence systems, with a particular focus on systems engineering activities, requirements management, and Model\-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Essential Technical Skills
Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
Experience in hardening Red Hat and Windows systems according to Common Criteria requirements.
Experience with virtualization platforms such as VirtualBox, VMware, and Proxmox.
Knowledge of networking protocols including SSH, NTP, ICMP, IGMP, UDP, TCP, and HTTP/HTTPS.
Understanding of unicast and multicast communications.
Experience in network traffic capture using tcpdump and packet analysis with Wireshark.
Knowledge of Fast DDS and RabbitMQ.
Experience using OpenSSL for the generation of private/public keys and Certificate Signing Requests (CSR).
Knowledge of secure communication technologies based on TLS/SSL.
Experience in shell scripting.
Knowledge of Ansible for automation and configuration management activities.
Knowledge of Model\-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
Experience with Git version control systems.
Advanced knowledge of Linux networking.
Optional Technical Skills
Experience in the configuration and management of Juniper SD\-WAN devices.

Salary range for this position: EUR 32,000 – 35,000 gross per year.
Employment level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate’s profile and in accordance with the Metalmeccanico National Collective Labour Agreement.
