Switchgear Test Engineer

Here at G59 Projects we are heavily based in the Renewable Energy sector supplying various services and products to our customers. Our main area's of service are LV Distribution Panels and general Switchgear from Isolator panels to large Distribution Panels.

We are looking for an experienced individual who has determination and drive with a proactive approach who is willing to get stuck in and be part of a team.

We require the successful candidate to posses experience in:

• Experience in building Control Panels


• Good eye for detail


• Experienced with 3 Phase


• Understanding of Relay's and Various Operating Voltages


• Comfortable attending sites to fault find where required

This position would suit an experienced panel builder/wireman looking to progress to a Test Engineer Role

Qualifications

• No specific requirements although qualifications such as Test \& Inspect would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high\-quality standards.


• Apply mechanical knowledge to support the assembly and testing of electrical components.


• Responsible for ensuring control panels that are manufactured are tested for functionality and quality to the highest standard

In return you will receive a starting rate of £16\.50 per hour per hour based on 40 hours per week. Also included with the package are;

• 20 days holiday plus Bank holidays (increasing by 1 day for each full year of service)
