SW/HW Test Engineer

SW/HW Test Engineer:

TXT e\-Tech, a company within the TXT Group, is seeking a Test Engineer, specialising in both software and hardware, to develop an automated test environment for the defence sector.

Main responsibilities:

Requirements analysis;

Specification and design of test fixtures for microwave and digital video modules;

Software and hardware upgrades and implementation on existing automated test benches for equipment, boards and modules.

Required technical skills

At least 5 years’ experience in software design;

Knowledge of the NI LabVIEW, Microsoft Visual Basic and C\+\+ programming languages;

Knowledge of measurement equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, vector analysers, RF generators);

Knowledge of CAD software for modifying drawings and electrical schematics.

Optional technical skills:

Knowledge of the Linux operating system;

Experience in the field of software testing;

Knowledge of PLM/WindChill.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the ability to work in a team, be proactive and flexible, possess problem\-solving skills and be capable of end\-to\-end management.

The contract offered for this position is a permanent one, and the salary range for this position is between EUR 33\.000 € and EUR 38\.000 € gross per year.

The grading/level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate's profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (Metalworking Industry).
