Your Mission
As Technical Project Manager, your mission is to help ensure that vehicle components are designed efficiently, safely and cost\-effectively, while meeting performance criteria and regulatory requirements. You will support European eAxle projects and help translate European market needs, technologies and materials into concrete product improvements and future roadmap decisions.
What you will do
- Provide technical support for ongoing European eAxle projects, mainly for casting parts (aluminium), while supporting other components when required.
- Support the AISIN Europe Purchasing team in discussions with local suppliers for ongoing localisation projects.
- Monitor European eAxle development best practices and technologies through symposiums, trade fairs and supplier visits.
- Assess European market specificities, including materials and technologies, that could improve AISIN eAxle products through cost reduction, increased performance or improved sustainability.
- Use these insights to influence eAxle design and the product roadmap in Japan, helping AISIN better meet European market expectations.
- Collaborate in a multicultural and international environment, primarily with Japanese colleagues and stakeholders.
Profile
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in mechanical or electromechanical engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Fluency in English.
- Willingness to travel in Europe and Japan, representing approximately 30% of working time.
- Strong analytical skills and close attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
- Previous exposure to automotive OEMs or Tier\-1 suppliers.
- Experience in Project Management.
- Japanese language skills.
