As a Sustainability Project Manager (m/f/d) you will report to Sustainability Manager – Excellence and Reportingin the Sustainability team based in Blieskastel (Germany) or Obernai (France) for a fixed\-term contract (6 months).
To support our Sustainability team in the roll\-out phase of key projects, we are looking for a Sustainability Project Manager (m/f/d) to support key sustainability ratings, reporting excellence, and business\-enabling sustainability initiatives.
Your role
As Sustainability Project Manager (m/f/d), you contribute to the implementation of Hager’s sustainability strategy, policies, and roadmaps. You work at the crossroads of sustainability performance, digital reporting, and business impact, in close collaboration with internal functions and external partners.
You report to the Sustainability Manager – Excellence and Reporting and act as a trusted advisor on sustainability topics across the company.
Your main responsibilities:
*Support sustainability ratings \& external initiatives*
- Support Hager’s sustainability ratings performance (EcoVadis, CDP, IntegrityNext)
- Coordinate external initiatives and submissions such as UN Global Compact and DNK/DNP
- Contribute to sustainability brand narrative and external positioning in alignment with communications
- Support the implementation of digital sustainability reporting tools
- Contribute to business\-enabling sustainability solutions for sales and marketing teams
- Act as an ambassador for sustainability internally and externally
- Communicate on sustainability commitments and achievements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or comparable
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sustainability consulting or an international company
- Exposure to sustainability ratings and platforms such as EcoVadis, CDP or IntegrityNext
- Additional education in project/program management or sustainability frameworks is a strong advantage (e.g., PMP/PRINCE2, ESG/CSRD/ESRS training, ratings methodologies)
- Strong stakeholder management and project delivery skills
- Ability to translate complex sustainability requirements into actionable plans
- Fluent English is mandatory, French and/or German is a strong advantage
