Sustainability Consultant (ESG Strategies and ISO Certifications)

Job description:

As Sustainability Consultant (Manager/Senior level), you will represent the company by supporting clients in shaping their sustainability strategies, achieving ISO certifications (e.g., ISO 14001 and ISO 20121\), and driving operational efficiencies within their premises and events. You will need to be a good all\-around sustainability professional, proactive communicator and team player, with an independent, well\-organised, problem\-solving attitude.

Please note that this is a hybrid role that requires at least 3 days in our Silverstone office and travel to and from clients.

A full driving licence and access to a car are requirements. The successful applicant MUST have the right to work in the UK.

Key Accountabilities:

• Client\-facing consultation across a broad range of sustainable business challenges, including all ESG strategies, double materiality assessments, partner meetings, concept creation on sustainable activation and others;


• Previous experience in leading the implementation and maintenance of management systems ensuring compliance with ISO standards, specifically ISO14001, ISO 20121 and ISO 5001;


• Knowledge of the HLS (High Level Structure) for ISO certifications;


• Experience in carrying out pre\-assessment and third\-party audits and providing the necessary audit reports;


• Client management with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude;


• Support client requests on operational sustainability, including GHG and carbon calculations, ESG event framework, workshop creation and delivery;


• Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations in response to tenders and requests for new and existing clients;


• Support the wider Enovation Consulting team (including Director, Associates) on several different high\-impact external projects;


• Create internal client briefing packs and benchmark with competitor analysis, market position and critique on existing sustainability progress against strategy, so that the team can position consultation accordingly;


• Create supporting materials for meetings to aid decision\-making.


• Engage with and bring to projects high\-quality customer service;


• Helping to scope new projects.

• Relevant qualification;


• At least 4 years in a similar role, implementing Sustainability strategy, ISO management systems relative to ISO14001 (desirable ISO20121\);


• At least 2 years in a management/consultancy role, client\-facing;


• Attention to detail;


• Independent, problem\-solving, can\-do attitude;


• Proficient in MS Office;


• Fluent in English (spoken and written);


• Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Planner or similar project management software;


• Certified training for ISO14001 (audit or standard) and/or ISO20121 (audit or standard);


• Must have a driving license and a car to commute and travel to clients when required.
