Surveyor and project manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive operational excellence. This role is pivotal in enhancing productivity, managing resources, and fostering a positive work environment. The candidate must have proven experience in the glazing industry and a deep understanding of PVC, Aluminium and Timber glazing products and installation processes And be able to survey, order and manage projects.

Duties

• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.


• Order processing with our suppliers


• Creating work schedules for our installation teams


• Surveyor knowledge is a must with this application


• Monitor daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.


• Quality control on client installations and ensuring all installations are done to a very high standard


• Lead, mentor, and develop a high\-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


• Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to identify areas for process enhancement and cost reduction.


• Analyse performance metrics to inform decision\-making and drive operational improvements.


• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and clients.


• Ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to within the workplace and on site.

• Proven experience in an operations management role or similar position within a relevant industry.


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.


• Excellent problem\-solving abilities and analytical skills for data\-driven decision\-making.


• Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities.


• Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.


• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation.
