About the Support Worker Role

We have Bank roles available at our Supported Living Schemes located in the North\-East

As a Support Worker at Compassionate Care Ltd, you will play a vital role in providing high\-quality support to our clients. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing their independence and quality of life, making a meaningful difference in their daily experiences. You will offer a supportive ear and calm presence while still bringing an element of fun into their daily activities and needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing clients life skills and personal interests

  • Supporting clients with medication and ensuring they achieve their own goals and aspirations

  • Arranging social activities in the home and in the local community

  • Promoting the independence of every client we support
The Ideal Candidate
  • Use previous experience and/or existing transferable skills to promote independent living for all our clients

  • May have experience with Mental Health, Autism or Learning Disabilities in a work setting or from personal experience (this isn’t essential as we provide all the training!)

  • Have a natural sense of empathy and good common sense

  • Will have an easy\-going personality and are understanding of others who may display behaviour that can present challenges

  • Have great organisational skills and ability to think outside the box

  • May be a driver with access to your own vehicle, although this is not essential

  • Are punctual, reliable and have the ability to think quickly and effectively
