Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Offer personalised support to children and young people, encouraging their development and independence


• Assist with daily activities, including educational tasks, recreational activities, and behavioural management


• Provide mentoring and guidance to help individuals build confidence and social skills


• Develop engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of each individual


• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment at all times


• Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support plans are followed


• Monitor progress and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement in personal development goals

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in working with children or young people is desirable


• Skills in mentoring, teaching, or supporting individuals with diverse needs are advantageous


• Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills


• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team


• Organised with strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities


• Relevant qualifications or training related to childcare or support work are beneficial but not essential

Pay: £13\.00\-£15\.00 per hour
