We are currently recruiting for 6 Residential Support Workers to join a children’s residential service in Waltham Abbey.
This is a great opportunity for experienced Support Workers who want to join a strong team and make a genuine difference to the lives of children and young people.
The role:
- Supporting children and young people in a residential setting
- Providing consistent, nurturing and therapeutic support
- Supporting with daily routines, activities and development
- Working as part of a wider care team
- Maintaining safeguarding and care standards
- Experience working with children or young people is preferred
- Residential childcare experience is advantageous
- A positive, patient and resilient approach
- Strong understanding of safeguarding
- Level 3 Residential Childcare is desirable but not essential
Up to £14 per hour
£50 per sleep\-in

Based in Waltham Abbey
Pay: £14\.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Waltham Abbey, Essex: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
- working with children: 1 year (preferred)
