We are looking for genuinely caring and compassionate – experienced Support Workers to come and join our friendly team at Beaconsfield House in Weston\-super\-Mare. Beaconsfield House is a homely 6 bed residential, specialist rehabilitation service for people who have suffered a brain injury or complex neurological condition.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in fostering Residents independence and have a passion for enhancing the quality of life of our residents. You will be supporting residents with a variety of daily tasks by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care (where required), encouraging them to access the local community, socialising and taking an interest in their lives, and doing lots of community activities.

You will work closely with our residents and their families as well as the wider multidisciplinary therapy team to provide person centred care in line with our Residents individual care plans.

This is a hands\-on, rewarding role, where you really will make a difference in the lives of the people we support.

Key Responsibilities:

· Providing person\-centred care and support tailored to individual needs

· Promoting independence, dignity, and choice at all times

\- Monitor residents health and administer medication as per protocols

\- Provide 1:1 support and adhere to Positive Behaviour Plans.

· Following care plans, risk assessments, and organisational policies

· Maintaining accurate and up to date records and reporting concerns appropriately

\- Organise and facilitate recreational activities, community visits and social integration

· Working collaboratively with colleagues, MDT team and external professionals

About You:

· Experience in residential Care is essential \- 2 years minimum essential

· You must have a valid proof of right to work in the UK (No Sponsorship available.)

· You must have strong and clear communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering compassionate care

· You should be flexible and be able to adapt to our residents changing needs and routines

· You need to have the ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

· You should have patience, eagerness to learn and a positive, pro\-active attitude

· Eager to develop new skills and acquire knowledge working with people with brain injuries

· Basic computer and written literacy
