Support Worker - Social Care

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll build meaningful relationships, encourage independence and help people achieve their personal goals, while providing the practical support they need in their day-to-day lives.

Whether you already have experience in care or are looking to start a new career, we'd love to hear from you. If you have the right attitude, full training and ongoing support will be provided.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting people with everyday living activities


• Encouraging independence and building confidence


• Assisting with shopping, cooking and household tasks


• Planning and coordinating recreational activities, including cinema, theme park and other trips/activities


• Supporting individuals to access community activities, appointments and social events


• Providing personal care where required


• Promoting dignity, choice and respect at all times


• Maintaining accurate records and following individual support plans


• Working closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals

About You

We're looking for people who are:

• Caring, patient and compassionate


• Reliable and trustworthy


• Positive, enthusiastic and willing to learn


• Good communicators with a friendly approach


• Able to work both independently and as part of a team


• Flexible to work a rota that may include evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Previous experience in care, support work or a similar role is beneficial but not essential. We're equally keen to hear from people looking to start a rewarding career where they can make a positive impact every day.

A full UK driving licence would be advantageous, although it isn't essential.
