We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Workers to join our growing team across Rochdale, Oldham, Tameside, and Stockport.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide practical and emotional support to vulnerable adults aged 18\+, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to live as independently as possible. You will work closely with individuals, encouraging them to achieve their personal goals while ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person\-centred support tailored to individual needs.
- Build positive, professional relationships based on trust and respect.
- Support individuals to maintain their tenancy and live independently.
- Assist with budgeting, shopping, meal preparation, and household tasks where appropriate.
- Encourage access to education, employment, volunteering, and training opportunities.
- Support individuals to attend appointments with healthcare professionals, housing providers, and other agencies.
- Promote positive mental health, wellbeing, and healthy lifestyles.
- Assist with developing life skills, confidence, and independence.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records and support notes.
- Identify safeguarding concerns and report these in line with company policies.
- Carry out risk assessments and follow support plans.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and mandatory training.
We are looking for someone who is:

- Organised with good record\-keeping skills.
- Able to maintain professional boundaries.
- Passionate about helping vulnerable adults achieve independence.
- Experience working with vulnerable adults or within health and social care (preferred but not essential).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic IT skills for recording support notes.
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends if required.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
- Competitive hourly rate of £12\.71 \- £14\.00 per hour.
