Support Worker
Responsibilities:
\- Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities
\- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
\- Help individuals with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
\- Support individuals in participating in recreational and social activities
\- Assist with medication management and administration as needed
\- Provide transportation to appointments, outings, and community activities
\- Document and maintain accurate records of individual progress and any incidents or observations
Qualifications:
\- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in a related field is a plus
\- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
\- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\- Compassionate and patient demeanor
\- Ability to handle challenging behaviors in a calm and professional manner
\- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
