Support Worker – Supported Living (Learning Disabilities \& Mental Health) – Days \& Nights

About the role

Community Independent Living (CIL) is looking for Support Workers to join our Supported Living services in Liverpool.

You will support adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs to live independently in their own homes. This is a practical, person\-centred role focused on building independence, confidence, and daily living skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Support individuals with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting and shopping

  • Provide personal care where required, maintaining dignity and respect

  • Support emotional wellbeing and mental health needs

  • Administer or prompt medication in line with training and company policy

  • Follow support plans, risk assessments and Positive Behaviour Support strategies

  • Maintain accurate daily records and communicate effectively with the team
Shift patterns
  • Days: 8:00am – 8:00pm

  • Nights: 8:00pm – 8:00am

Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months UK care experience preferred but no essential.

  • Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
