Contract Type: Full\-Time or Part\-Time (Flexible working patterns available)

Salary: £12\.75 – £12\.95 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience

At Glenholme Specialist Healthcare, we're looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our Learning Disabilities Service in Stevenage. No experience is required – if you're kind, patient, and empathetic, we'll provide full training and ongoing support.

Whether you've worked in care before or come from a completely different background such as retail, hospitality, cleaning, admin, or customer service – we want to hear from you.

What You'll Get

• £12\.75 per hour starting rate


• £12\.85 per hour after completing our paid\-for Care Certificate


• £12\.95 per hour with a Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care

You will play a key role in promoting independence, dignity, and a fulfilling life for individuals with learning disabilities. Duties will include:

• Providing personal care and emotional support


• Teaching and supporting independent living skills


• Supporting individuals with community\-based activities such as social outings, leisure, and hobbies


• Companionship and relationship building


• Medication support and day\-to\-day health monitoring

• A warm, friendly, and patient individual


• Commitment to promoting dignity and independence for those we support


• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team


• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude


• Reliability and flexibility to support a variety of shifts


• Previous experience or qualifications in care are welcomed but not essential
