Support worker for children and young adults
Duties:
\- Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities or special needs
\- Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
\- Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
\- Provide emotional support and companionship
\- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals \- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, progress, and any services provided. \- Teach life skills. e.g. budgeting and financial literacy and cooking.
Requirements: \- Valid DBS for children \& adults. We can help in providing. \- 2 Reference contact details \- Proof of Address \- Care training certificates
\- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred
\- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\- Patience, empathy, and compassion
\- Ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately
\- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends if required
Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time, Freelance
Pay: £12\.71\-£14\.00 per hour
Shift:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Weekends only
- London, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
- Care: 1 year (preferred)
- English (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
