Support Worker (Complex Service)

SIS is recruiting compassionate and committed Support Workers to join a newly established complex care service in Macclesfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a professional multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality support to individuals with complex mental health needs within a purpose-built care environment.

The Role As a Support Worker, you will:

• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team


• Support individuals with complex and enhanced mental health needs


• Safely and confidently manage behaviours that may challenge, including forensic-related behaviours


• Encourage independence through a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach


• Support individuals in developing everyday living skills within a safe and structured environment

Flexible working patterns are available, including:

• Day shifts


• Part-time hours


• Bank shifts

About the Service This service supports individuals transitioning from long-term secure placements, rehabilitation settings, and forensic environments. For many people, this will be an important step towards semi-independent living and rebuilding confidence within the community.

What We’re Looking For • Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification, or willingness to work towards this

• Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and behaviours that challenge


• A caring, proactive, and person-centred approach


• Strong communication and teamwork skills


• Motivated, adaptable, and empathetic individuals with a genuine passion for supporting others


• Creativity and initiative within a care environment
