Support Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.


• Support clients in accessing community resources and services.

• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in behaviour or condition to the appropriate personnel.


• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individual care plans.


• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.


• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a support or care role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.


• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.


• Empathy and patience when working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


• Basic understanding of health and safety practices within a care setting.
