• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable


• Previous experience working adults with complex learning disabilities and health care needs, however let us know any personal experience, related background or qualifications as this experience is all relevant too


• The ability to work cooperatively and professionally with colleagues, service users and others


• A caring, patient and reliable nature


• 12 months on your Legal Right To Work


• Working 20hrs a week, Shift pattern 8am - 10:30am / 3pm - 5:30pm

. As part of your day to day work you will be offering the following;

Encouraging – people to play

active

roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence. Supporting

– Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting. Communicating - effectively communicate using people’s chosen methods

Engaging - promoting and motivating people we

support

to enhance their quality of life Specialising -

supporting

people who may need positive behavioural support

approaches Recording - keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management

Team player – Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
