Support Worker

What We’re Looking For
- A Driver’s License is Essential (able to drive both manual and autmatic): To support our service users with appointments and activities, you must have a full UK driving license and be confident driving manual vehicles.

· Supporting people who use our services to pursue their interests, maximising their potential and fulfilling of their dreams.
· Enable people who use our services to maintain their personal hygiene and appearance.
· Supporting people who use our services to access their local community resources.
· Assisting in the preparation and making of meals, drinks and snacks enabling people who use our services to maintain a good level of nutrition.
· Enable people who use our services to be more independent by teaching them skills they need to sustain that independence in their community.
· To assist with tasks of daily living that people who use our services cannot manage alone. These may include cleaning, shopping, paying bills and household skills.
· Support people who use our services to live a healthy lifestyle and promote their general wellbeing.
· Support those who use our services in developing sustaining relationships thereby reducing the risk of isolation.
Skills Required\- Full UK driving licence essential
· Caring attitude, flexibility. and the ability to work alongside people who use our services.
· Ability to use common sense and use of own initiative.
· Willingness to learn and have an empowering attitude.
· Good communication skills
· Ability to work towards an SVQ 3 qualification.
· Maintain a written agreed record of work completed.
· To attend any training provided by the company, to attend team meetings, and reviews regarding the people who use our services as required.
· Develop one’s own knowledge and practice.
· To undertake all duties in accordance with the company policies and procedures and always abide by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) Codes of Practice and the Health \& Social Care Standards.

Pay: £26,227\.50\-£27,300\.00 per year
