Support Pharmacist

We are seeking a professional, patient\-focused Support Pharmacist to join our well\-established pharmacy team. This role is ideally suited to a pharmacist who communicates confidently, works well under pressure, and enjoys being part of a busy dispensary supported by an excellent and experienced team.

This position offers an attractive work–life balance with no weekend or public holiday work required.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of prescriptions in accordance with legal, ethical, and professional standards.


• Provide clear, professional, and patient\-centred advice on medicines and healthcare.


• Work effectively within a busy dispensary environment, contributing positively to workflow and team performance.


• Support and collaborate with pharmacy technicians, dispensers, and counter staff.


• Maintain full compliance with PSI regulations, pharmacy SOPs, and clinical governance requirements.


• Assist with stock control, record keeping, and day\-to\-day pharmacy operations.


• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

• Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a high\-volume dispensary.


• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.


• A positive, flexible, and team\-oriented approach.

• Previous experience in community pharmacy in Ireland.


• Familiarity with Irish pharmacy systems and procedures.


• Interest in delivering enhanced and private pharmacy services.

Pay: €35\.00\-€38\.00 per hour
