About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Desk\-Based Telecoms Support \& Installation Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with good communication skills, a technical mindset, and a willingness to learn. Full training will be provided.
You will support telecoms installations remotely, prepare equipment for deployment, and provide telephone and remote support to customers and engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and configuring telecoms equipment prior to installation
- Setting up routers, handsets, hosted phone systems, and related hardware
- Providing telephone and remote technical support to customers
- Assisting engineers and customers with installation queries
- Troubleshooting connectivity and telecoms issues
- Updating customer records and job notes accurately
- Testing equipment before dispatch
- Liaising with suppliers, engineers, and internal teams
- Supporting ongoing customer maintenance requests
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic IT knowledge and confidence using computers
- Strong problem\-solving ability
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in telecoms, broadband, networking, or IT support
- Familiarity with VoIP or hosted telephone systems
- Experience with routers or network equipment
- Full training provided

Pay: £26,000\.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Gloucester
