WHAT'S THE ROLE?

Due to internal promotions and investment, we have an opportunity for a Head Office Support Engineer to join our dynamic and growing Engineering team at Hilti Head Office in Dublin.

As a Support Engineer, you will work as part of our Engineering Competence Centre (ECC), collaborating with multi\-teams at Hilti Ireland. This is a busy role inclusive of technical expertise, design and high level of communication skills and customer centric skills.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Your role includes providing engineering support and coverage to a defined group of customers as well as technical support, information, and advise to colleagues and their customers. In addition, you will be consulting engineers and focus customers, to gain specifications, through providing added value engineering services. You will effectively maximise sales opportunities in a defined list of key regional projects through project management of activities and coordination of all engineering resources.

What you need is:

  • University degree within Engineering; Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering

  • 1\-2 years of design experience and/or some sales experience would be an advantage;

  • English language fluency

  • Proficiency in AutoCad, Microsoft Excel;

  • Communicative and open personality with passion for results

  • Full working rights in Ireland

  • Committed to continuous learning and development

  • Good planning and time management skills
