This role is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates considering a career in education, and those from care or early years backgrounds.
Position: Supply Teaching Assistant
Location: South East London
Contract: Daily Supply & Long-Term Opportunities
Hours: Flexible, Monday-Friday, Term Time Only
Pay: £100 - £117 per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils individually and in small groups
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning resources
- Help children with additional needs to access learning
- Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Experience within education, care, youth work, early years or support work is welcomed
- Patient, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
