Supply & Demand Planning Manager

SG Technologies \- part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high\-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar, and YASA.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Supply \& Demand Planning Manager to lead our purchasing, planning, and logistics functions within a fast\-paced manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with operational expertise, ensuring materials availability aligns with production needs while maintaining cost control and supplier performance.

Responsibilities will include:

• Manage supplier relationships and mitigate supply chain risks


• Ensure optimal stock levels for raw materials, consumables, and tooling


• Utilise MRP systems to improve planning accuracy and operational efficiency


• Align production with sales forecasts and manage inventory against working capital targets


• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as a strategic point of contact for supply chain and service\-related matters


• Manage, coach, and develop Supply and Demand Planning team members.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in materials planning, procurement, and logistics


• Strong working knowledge of MRP systems, Microsoft Office, contract law, and technical drawings/specifications.


• Ideally have experience in the automotive industry


• Effective team leader with excellent communication skills


• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and data interpretation skills


• Must have a valid UK driving licence and ability to travel domestically and overseas

This position will be site based.

Full time 37\.5\-hour week – Monday to Thursday 8\.30am – 5pm, Friday 8\.30am – 2\.30pm.

After successfully passing probation, you will be eligible to use our flexitime system working around a core hour system with the potential to work a 9\-day fortnight.
