The resource will be joining our HQ Supply Chain Team. In particular, the person will support the team with the following activities: consolidate a forecast, manage, and control inventory for full cluster. With guidance from Demand and Inventory Planning Manager the Demand \& Inventory Planning Support he/she has to facilitate the finalization of a proper forecast making sure to collect all the inputs coming from the market areas as well as set up inventory parameters to assure the best service level possible.
Job and personal requirements:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in management engineering (mechanical or similar)
- Fluent in English language
- Excellent Analytical skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Good communication skills in writing as well as verbal
- Structured working style and good at keeping an overview
- Analytical approach • Positive mind\-set and team player
- Take responsibility and make things happen
- Curiosity \& passion for Supply Chain environments
- 1 year of experience in demand and inventory planning
- Assist in the development and implementation of KPIs and analysis on: Forecast Accuracy; Stock Quality; Actions for Inventory Optimization
- Challenge the forecasts from the sales teams and the usual runs (historical data, seasonality, market trends, special o ers, budgets, etc.) with relevant data analysis
- Discuss Forecast trend with region identifying and understanding root causes for demand pattern change and leading the update in forecasting and planning systems
- Maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process \& obsolete
- Support the management of inventory levels to meet corporate goals
- Reporting and tracking the status of stock level as well as the e ciency of commercial actions on slow mover, excess
- Support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy; investigate \& reconcile discrepancies \& negatives
